Meet the Therapist

Alexi graduated with a major in Psychology, a minor in Developmental Adapted Physical Education, a concentration in pre-occupational therapy, and three years of American Sign Language. Shortly thereafter, Alexi began working as a Mental Health Practitioner for a local autism center school. After graduate school, Alexi entered her career as an occupational therapist in a pediatric outpatient clinic, where she has expanded her skills in sensory processing, emotional regulation, and whole-family care. Alexi also co-founded SENSE-ational Spaces, LLC where she and her business partner strive to promote education on sensory processing and environmental modification as well as develop and implement custom sensory friendly spaces in homes and in the community. Alexi is also a member of the National Board of Certified Occupational Therapists, Minnesota Occupational Therapy Association, American Occupational Therapy Association. She is a licensed provider in both Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Alexi was born and raised in Minnesota where she now resides with her family. She and her husband recently had a son but also have two English Setters and two cats. She loves to read books, relax by the fire, and get outside whenever possible.
